RENTALS ASSISTANT / WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN H/F

Provides guest services related to the proper selection, fitting, renting of a variety of winter sports equipment and accessories. Assists in maintaining efficient and high quality workshop operations.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS :

– Location : Porters Alpine Resort’s Rentals Department

– Fixed Term : from late June to early October (snow conditions permitting)

– 5 days a week

– 8 hours a day (8 to 5 – 1 hour lunch break)

Fully qualified Winter Sports Technician (CQP Ski) The succesfull applicant will need to be a team player, fluent with English, flexible and able to handle work under pressure as our Rental Department operates high volume daily hire. We are expecting all our staff members to be friendly, personable and comfortable working with people.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

– Fit Boots, Skis/Poles, Snowboard to guest satisfaction;

– Ensure guests are equiped with the appropriate gear according to their rental agreement;

– Maintain good level of cleanliness of the rental area;

– Pre-tech ski equipment for school groups;

– Work closely with snow school to ensure swift handling of schools throughout the day;

– Assist head workshop technician in maintaining the rental fleet and processing customers gear repairs and services in a timely manner;

– Maintain good level of cleanliness of the workshop;

– In addition to your normal duties, you may be required to assist with tasks not directly linked to your job description but commensurate with your position and in accordance with the job purpose from time to time.
